CHILDREN’S CLASSES (part of the Flower Show)

THIS YEAR’S THEME IS KINROSS SHOW DAY (not under the sea as incorrectly printed in the premium list)

ENTRIES: £1 per Adult Exhibit and 50p per Child Exhibit

Entries accepted on Show Field until 9.00pm on Friday 11th August and from 7.30am until 9.30am on Sat. 12th August.

Boards available on request.

Flower Marquee Open to the Public from 11.30am. 

Trophy/s will be presented at 3.30pm 

Entries can be uplifted at 4.00 p.m.

Prize Money: In all Classes 1st – £3, 2nd – £2, 3rd – £1

Collected at the Secretary’s Tent by 4.30pm.

Judges – Isabel Cooper, Carnock, Dunfermline and Andrew Brown, Station Court, Leven.   

Judging commences 10.00am prompt


  1. Bowl of floating flowers (any size of bowl any number of flowers) for 8 years and under. ‘Glass Bowls will be provided if required’.        
  1. Bowl of floating flowers (any size of bowl any number of flowers) for 14 years and under. ‘Glass Bowls will be provided if required’
  1. Drawing of KINROSS SHOW DAY (please include some animals, tractors etc.) Age 5 and under

  1. Two Decorated Digestives- decorated to look like Prize Rosettes for Kinross Show (suggest Red, blue, yellow or green colours) Age 5 and under. Plates will be provided.
  1. Any farm Animal made from Vegetables Age 6 – 8
  2. Model of Farm Animal made from re-cyclable material Age 9 – 14.
  1. Arrangement of Garden Flowers in a Jam jar. Age 8 and under
  1. ‘Garden in a Seed Tray” not exceeding 40cms x 25cms using natural material only. Age 8 and under
  1. Garden in a Seed Tray” not exceeding 40cms x 25cms using natural material only. Age 9 -14 years.
  1. ‘Model Farm in a Seed Tray’ –‘Models Allowed’ Age 8 and under

Children on Ridden animals must wear appropriate scull caps/hats

Class 71. Best Fancy Dress Turnout by a child 12 years or under – with or without a Pony or Donkey.

Trophy: The MacLeod Quaich presented in Memory of Rev. Norman MacLeod,Minister at Orwell & Portmoak Churches from 1978 – 1988. For annual comp.
